2001-  1st Place, in two categories of, the Royal Canadian Legions National Poster Competition. Represented the youth of Canada in the National remembrance ceremony in Ottawa. (Tea with Governor General Adrienne Clarkson, lunch with the Chief of Defense, and conversation with PM Jean Chretien)

2000-  1st Place in the Royal Canadian Legion's National Poster Competition. Represented the youth of Canada in the National remembrance ceremony in Ottawa.

2000-  1st Place in The Brant Festival Student Competition. (Lunch with Robert Bateman)
